It is the firm belief of the men and women that comprise The Institute that the supernatural--vampires, were-creatures, magic, and the like--does not lie outside the realm of scientific investigation.
Instead, The Institute believes that supernatural events are events that merely have not yet been adequately explained by science. It is the goal of The Institute to explain these events scientifically.
Unfortunately, many in the supernatural community see The Institute as a malevolent entity--as hunters or worse. It is The Institute's hope that these pages will help to dispel these inaccurate perceptions.
